Typical Easy Nutritious Scrambled Tofu Recipe

Don’t you think that the fancy kind of scrambled eggs meal with onions, tomatoes and coriander is just a stir fry?

Well, here’s an egg-free tofu scramble stir fry! ๐Ÿ˜

๐ŸŒนSecret ingredients: firm tofu and turmeric

๐ŸŒนBetter with: black salt (kala namak)

…but i don’t have black salt so black pepper would have to do!

I also added steamed (or boiled) broccoli and slices of avocado (bcs it’s been in the fridge for too long lol)


Here’s what i did:

1๏ธโƒฃ cut ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข and place it in a pot and add a tiny bit of water. close the lid and let it soften.

2๏ธโƒฃ smash/cut 3 cloves of ๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ and slice 2 ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ (warning: tears) and cook them in a hot pan with a little bit of oil.

3๏ธโƒฃ tear some ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ into the pan and stir.

4๏ธโƒฃ add seasonings of choice; i added ๐ฉ๐š๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ค๐š and ๐›๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ค ๐ฉ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ.

5๏ธโƒฃ crush two blocks of ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ฎ and sprinkle some ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ. mix mix mix.

6๏ธโƒฃ add your ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐Ÿ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ž๐  of choice (i don’t know the name of the veg i bought lolol) and stir.

7๏ธโƒฃ transfer the tofu scramble mix onto a plate.

8๏ธโƒฃ cook the can of ๐›๐š๐ค๐ž๐ ๐›๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ on the pan along with the above-mentioned seasonings.

9๏ธโƒฃ when all is done transfer onto your plate (don’t forget the brocco) and garnish with whatever you wish (i added slices of avo).


The great thing about this dish is you can have it at any time of the day or night. It’s super filling and contains most of the nutrients your body needs!
