As Muslims commemorate the life of Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him), it’s important to remember the essence of what he preached.
In a world where we are treating animals as mere products and polluting the environment, it’s important that we question our actions and tradition.
Islam is a beautiful way of life that encourages us to seek knowledge, truth and spiritual elevation.
Though the teachings & practice of the prophet should be made exemplary (a sunnah), we should also adapt to the current situation, as long as it aligns with the overall Islamic values.
🌱 I don’t think my vegan values contradict with my Islamic values, as long as I understand & accept the necessity of the 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 animal slaughter when in times of 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝.

…but looking at how animal foods and products are produced, it’s FAR from moderate.
